Drones have fundamentally changed the war in Ukraine.

They scout positions, monitor territory, support evacuations, protect cities from incoming drones and give Ukrainian units capabilities that previously required vastly more expensive systems.

But behind many of those drones is something surprisingly ordinary: a civilian donation.

Ukraine has developed an extraordinary network of government initiatives, charities, volunteer organizations and specialized technology funds connecting donors with urgent requirements.

For international supporters, however, donating is not always straightforward.
