Ondas Completes Acquisition of Sentrycs Strengthening Global Leadership in Counter-UAS Technology

Ondas Holdings Inc. has officially completed its acquisition of Sentrycs, an Israeli company known globally for its counter-UAS cyber technology. The strategic move expands Ondas’ capabilities in the rapidly growing counter-drone security segment and positions the company as a leading provider of layered anti-drone systems designed for defense, public safety, and critical infrastructure operators.
The acquisition significantly broadens Ondas’ product ecosystem by integrating Sentrycs’ Cyber-Over-RF technology — an advanced counter-drone method capable of identifying, tracking, and taking control of unauthorized UAVs without jamming or signal disruption. This approach enables safe threat mitigation even in dense urban or regulated environments where traditional jamming may interfere with communications or navigation systems.
According to Ondas leadership, the deal reflects accelerating demand for secure CUAS solutions as drone threats increase globally. Drone intrusions, payload smuggling, airspace violations, and hostile UAV attacks have pushed governments and critical infrastructure sectors to adopt layered protection systems. With the addition of Sentrycs, Ondas can now offer a combined cyber and kinetic interception architecture through its Ondas Autonomous Systems (OAS) business unit — including integration with platforms such as the Iron Drone Raider.
Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO of Ondas Holdings and Co-CEO of OAS, commented that Sentrycs’ takeover technology complements the company’s autonomous interception capabilities, creating one of the most comprehensive CUAS portfolios available. He emphasized that the acquisition supports Ondas’ strategy to scale into a multi-domain defense technology leader, especially at a time when global drone threats continue to evolve.
Sentrycs currently delivers solutions across aviation, government, and security markets, with around 200 deployments in more than 25 countries. Its technology is used to detect and take remote control of unauthorized drones through proprietary protocol-manipulation methods, enabling safe land-and-neutralize response without collateral damage.
Integrating Sentrycs into Ondas’ System-of-Systems framework creates a unified CUAS architecture combining:
- Cyber takeover through protocol manipulation
- Autonomous kinetic interception via Iron Drone Raider
- Real-time sensor fusion and AI-driven decision support
- Scalable deployment for perimeter and airspace defense
This layered approach is particularly aimed at airports, borders, government buildings, and high-value critical infrastructure environments where controlled mitigation is essential and jamming restrictions apply.
The acquisition arrives during strong commercial momentum for Ondas. In the latest financial reporting period, the company highlighted record revenue, a growing backlog, and increased demand projections for 2025–2026 across defense and security sectors. Additionally, a recent European government contract marked the Iron Drone Raider’s debut in Europe, pointing to rising international adoption of OAS products.
Sentrycs’ integration is expected to accelerate global CUAS deployment programs through a unified go-to-market strategy combining hard-kill, soft-kill, and cyber-controlled neutralization. Ondas plans to leverage its business units — American Robotics, Airobotics, Apeiro Motion, Ondas Networks, and Ondas Capital — to expand into new markets, support allied defense partners, and scale unmanned systems for operational security applications.
Ondas’ newly strengthened CUAS ecosystem is positioned to play a central role in the growing demand for autonomous, low-collateral airspace protection. As drone technology continues to proliferate worldwide, the ability to safely detect, take control of, and intercept hostile UAVs is becoming a critical requirement for governments and industry operators alike.
