Yet despite this decisive political rebuke, the software is still coming.
The state government intends to move forward with the implementation of Palantir Gotham, one of the world's most powerful intelligence and data-analysis platforms, for law enforcement operations.
The controversy highlights a growing reality facing Europe: many leaders want technological independence, but few are willing to sacrifice capability in pursuit of it.
The Digital Sovereignty Debate Has Arrived
