Gremsy has unveiled the Orus L—a spherical imaging payload designed to elevate drone operations to new heights of intelligence and agility. This compact yet powerful system integrates advanced electro-optical (EO) and infrared (IR) sensors with onboard AI, enabling drones to perform complex missions with unprecedented speed and precision.

The Orus L is engineered for high-speed operations, supporting flight speeds up to 100 km/h on both fixed-wing and vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) platforms. Its rugged, spherical design not only enhances aerodynamics but also provides IP55-rated environmental protection, ensuring reliable performance in harsh and unpredictable conditions. This makes it an ideal solution for a wide range of applications, from infrastructure inspections to search and rescue missions.

At the heart of the Orus L is the NVIDIA Jetson Orin processor, delivering robust onboard AI capabilities for real-time data processing and autonomous functionality. This integration allows the payload to analyze and interpret data directly at the source, reducing the need for extensive post-flight analysis and enabling faster decision-making in critical situations.

The multi-sensor suite of the Orus L includes a 25x optical zoom EO camera for detailed visual inspections and a sensitive IR camera for operations in low-light or adverse weather conditions. This combination ensures comprehensive situational awareness, providing operators with the tools needed to navigate complex environments and execute missions with greater efficiency and accuracy.
